1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Road Development Authority (RDA) Loan Application & Status Viewer System ("the System"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the System, including employees, administrators, and visitors.

2. System Purpose

The System is provided exclusively for RDA employees to view their loan application status and manage loan-related information. The System is for informational purposes only and does not constitute official loan approval documentation. Official loan decisions are communicated through formal written channels by the Finance Division.

3. Authorized Access

Access to the System is restricted to:

• Current permanent employees of the Road Development Authority
• Authorized administrative personnel (Secretary, DDG, Clerk)
• Individuals with valid PF Number and NIC credentials
• Individuals who have been granted explicit access by the Finance Division

4. Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (PF and NIC)
• You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your credentials
• Notify RDA immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Do not share your PF Number or NIC with any unauthorized person
• Log out from your account when you are finished using the System
• You are liable for any unauthorized use of your credentials

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the System for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose
• Attempt to access, view, or modify other employees' information
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the System
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent security measures
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the System
• Share, reproduce, or distribute System information without proper authorization
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful software
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others

6. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, RDA does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of loan status information displayed. Official loan decisions are communicated through formal channels. Users are responsible for verifying information through official channels before making decisions based on System data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The System and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind
• RDA shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from System use
• RDA is not responsible for technical issues, system downtime, network errors, or data loss
• Loan status displayed is provisional and subject to verification by the Finance Division
• RDA is not liable for decisions made based on System information
• In no event shall RDA's liability exceed the amount of fees paid for the use of the System

8. System Availability

RDA strives to maintain System availability 24/7 but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure events may temporarily affect availability. RDA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the System at any time.

9. Data Accuracy Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide (PF Number and NIC) is accurate and complete. RDA is not liable for access issues, incorrect loan calculations, or eligibility determinations caused by incorrect information entry.

10. Termination of Access

RDA reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the System at its sole discretion:

• For violation of these Terms & Conditions
• Upon employment termination with RDA or transfer to another department
• For security reasons or suspected unauthorized access
• During system maintenance or upgrades
• For operational or administrative reasons

11. Intellectual Property

All System content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of RDA and protected by Sri Lankan and international intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

12. Modifications to Terms

RDA reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the System after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and RDA regarding your use of the System and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
